CTT Olot Prepares for Historic Champions League Stage 1 Debut in Lille
The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) headquarters hosted the official draw for the first phase of the European Champions League, setting up a demanding opening test for Spain’s CTT Olot. The Catalan club learned its group-stage opponents on July 18, officially stamping their ticket into Group B of Stage 1.
Matches for this opening phase are scheduled to run from August 28 through August 30 in the French city of Lille.
Inside Group B: Opponents and Seedings
According to the official ETTU draw results, CTT Olot enters Group B alongside three formidable international opponents. The group is headlined by top seed SF SKK El Nino Praha, recognized as one of the premier table tennis clubs in the Czech Republic.
Rounding out the Group B field are Danish side Roskilde Bordtennis BTK 61 and Romanian club CS-SZAK Odorheiu Secuiesc.
