The South American Judo Championships, a premier regional event, saw 22 nations compete across 22 weight categories. Argentina’s judo team, led by head coach Pablo Martínez, showcased depth and resilience, earning medals in both men’s and women’s divisions. Bredeston’s silver in the men’s 78 kg category was secured after a hard-fought final against Brazil’s Lucas Silva, who claimed gold.
