Former PSV Eindhoven attacking midfielder Ibrahim Afellay will be permanently honored with a tile in the club’s Walk of Fame at Philips Stadium, the team announced on Friday, April 24, 2026. The tribute will be unveiled during PSV’s first open training session of the season on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Afellay, who came through the PSV youth academy after starting at USV Elinkwijk, made 159 appearances and scored 35 goals for the Eindhoven club between 2004 and 2010. During his initial spell, he helped PSV win four Eredivisie titles before transferring to FC Barcelona in January 2011 for a reported fee of €3 million.
