The Italian indoor archery circuit saw a significant breakthrough for the Calabria region as Domenico Pellegrino claimed a bronze medal at the Campionati Italiani Indoor. Representing the Reggio Calabria-based club Asd Arcieri Fata Morgana, Pellegrino’s performance in the barebow juniors category marks a high point for the regional delegation in Rome.

The competition, which took place from February 26 to March 1 at the Fiera di Roma, tested athletes on the standard indoor distance of 18 meters. Pellegrino distinguished himself in a field of high-level competitors, posting a score of 485 to secure his place on the podium.
