The ASD Arcieri Amici di Reno of San Pietro Vernotico secured the top spot in the Allieve Arco Nudo (Youth Barebow) team competition, marking a high point for the club and its athletes.

The winning team comprised Sara Levante and Alessandra Massari, both from San Pietro Vernotico, and Roberta Suriano of Mesagne. Their combined score of 1223 points proved decisive, surpassing established teams like Kappa Kosmos of Rovereto (1193 points) and Altopiano Pinè (1075 points). This victory underscores the growing talent within the Pugliese archery community and the effectiveness of the Arcieri Amici di Reno’s training program.
The success wasn’t limited to the gold-medal-winning team. Lorenzo Talò, also representing ASD Arcieri Amici di Reno, delivered a strong performance in his category, finishing seventh. Despite initial nerves, Talò rallied to achieve the highest score of the second round with 280 points after posting 252 in the first. Brothers Erik and Erwin Fiaschi also demonstrated promise in the Compound Allievi Maschile (Youth Compound Men) category, achieving commendable placements.

Founded in 2013, the ASD Arcieri Amici di Reno has quickly established itself as a prominent force in Italian archery, boasting 18 national titles and numerous individual and team records. The Arcieri Amici di Reno offers training sessions at two locations: the Scuola Media in San Pietro Vernotico (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) and the Scuola Media in Torchiarolo (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM) during the winter months. During the summer, training moves to an outdoor field located along Strada Pagliarelle, just outside Torchiarolo.
The club actively encourages newcomers to try the sport, offering free introductory sessions and providing all necessary equipment.
