The goalkeeper collided with Wilfried Kanga during the match. From the impact, we understood that both players were seriously affected, which their clubs confirmed the next day.
La Gantoise quickly communicated about Kanga. The striker spent the night at UZ Ghent for exams. No bleeding or fractures were detected, but he suffered a concussion.
Heavy diagnosis after the shock
On the Leysen side, the results are more serious. The goalkeeper briefly lost consciousness on the pitch and, unlike Kanga, was unable to walk off the pitch. He was taken directly to the hospital, where OHL provided news.

“Examinations revealed a fracture of the orbit and a concussion. Additional analyzes must clarify the severity of the fracture and determine whether an operation will be necessary,” the club said.
