The evacuation alarm goes off in the Euroborg. It can be heard from far and wide. At entrance 3 the water comes down in large quantities. The fire brigade is on site and is investigating.
“Colleagues are currently on site and are investigating the cause,” said FC Groningen director Frank van Mosselveld. According to him, it appears that it is a burst pipe in the building. This would concern a transport pipe for the sprinkler systems.
