The Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics officially begin this Friday, February 6, with the traditional opening ceremony at the San Siro stadium in Milan. Still rather measured in recent days, interest in the event rose a notch on February 5 with the arrival of the Olympic torch, at the end of its journey in the peninsula. But the challenges linked to the organization at the seven competition sites have not yet all been met.
