This year, the CFMoto Aspar Team will have the support of Mapfre, a sponsor for the 2026 season that will kick off the … World Championship with the Thai Grand Prix, at the end of February. Aspiring to fight for podiums, victories and even world titles, the team led by Jorge Martínez Aspar adds the boost of the insurance company to the know-how of David Alonso and Dani Holgado, in Moto2, and Máximo Quiles and Marco Morelli in Moto3.
Mapfre thus resumes a historic alliance with the team with which it already shared a period of great success between 2007 and 2015, a period in which they achieved together three world titles, nearly 50 victories and more than 150 podiums. This agreement reinforces the company’s commitment to sport and, in particular, to motorcycling, accompanying a team that faces a decisive season with the aim of fighting for the Moto3 and Moto2 world championships.
With this sponsorship, Mapfre’s image will be present in the Moto3, Moto2 and JuniorGP categories, appearing on different supports of the CFMoto Aspar Team, such as the motorcycles, the riders’ equipment, the garage panels and the team’s transportation devices.
The CFMoto Aspar Team will begin the season in Thailand, with the aim of being the protagonist from the first race. Jorge Martínez Aspar, its CEO, highlighted: «For the Aspar Team, having the support of a leading company like Mapfre reinforces the solidity and ambition of a sports project with which we want to compete for everything this year. “It is a joy to be able to count on Mapfre once again in the Aspar Team family because they will allow us to continue betting on the talent of young drivers with whom we can reach the top.”
For his part, Fernando Garrido, Marketing and Communication Director of Mapfre Spain, stated: “Reuniting our path with that of the Aspar Team means recovering an alliance that gave us great joy and that fully connects with Mapfre’s values: effort, improvement and teamwork. “We face this new stage with enthusiasm and with the ambition to accompany a sporting project that aspires to the highest in a key season.”
Mapfre is the main Spanish insurance company in the world. In Spain it has 7.2 million clients, around 11,000 employees in this country and more than 3,100 offices distributed throughout the territory.
