Marítimo drew 1-1 this afternoon at Feirense, in the 20th round of the II League.

The first half was played at a good pace, with a lot of intensity and balance. Both teams tried to reach the goal and created clear opportunities, but ended up coming up against excellent interventions from the goalkeepers.

In the second half, Feirense started to circle the Maritimista goal much more and the goal ended up coming, in the 73rd minute, through Leandro, who appeared in the right place and quickly, to finish with a header.

From then on, setbacks continued for the Madeirans, with the expulsions of Noah Madsen and Romain Correia, in the 77th and 85th minutes, respectively.

Even so, already in the 90th minute, Butzke secured a precious point for the Madeiran team, with a well-aimed shot after a cross from Martín Tejón.

With this result, Marítimo has 41 points and maintains the lead in the general classification. In the next round, scheduled for February 7th, the island team receives, at 2 pm, in Barreiros, Farense.
