Eva Gaetino: From PSG to Denver – Women’s Soccer Transfer

Almost two years to the day after her arrival at PSG women, Eva Gaetino decided to put an end to her adventure in France. Under contract until June 2026, the 23-year-old American defender will return to the United States under the jersey of the Denver Summit franchise.

Recruited under the orders of Jocelyn Prêcheur, Gaetino quickly established himself in the Parisian rearguard before seeing his playing time drop in recent months. Very promising, the international (two selections) was no longer an indisputable starter this season with Paulo César.

The club will not recruit a replacement

Eva Gaetino will have played a total of 45 games in the PSG women’s jersey and will have notably won a Coupe de France during the 2023-2024 season. If the amount of the transaction is not known, the capital club will indeed receive transfer compensation from Denver.

The Parisian leaders do not plan to compensate for the departure of the defender. The club wishes to rely on internal solutions to finish the season and is counting in particular on the Polish Paulina Dudek who has returned from injury since the start of the year.
