This year is about MLB The Show it’s all about leaving your mark. More than any other game, it’s about the path that leads you to your goal. It starts with hard work in high school, with the continuous motivation to get better every day, and the ambition to have a career that will take you to the Hall of Fame. This motivation was at the forefront throughout the development of this year’s game. And that’s why San Diego Studio and MLB The Show very proud to welcome back three-time American League MVP Aaron Judge.
His journey took him from high school to college, then from the minor leagues to the major leagues and finally to the world stage. We’ve recreated that same journey in our game and strived to create the most authentic MLB experience off the field.
Aaron continues to make history. After a record-breaking rookie year in 2017, he was our cover athlete in 2018. He is now a three-time AL MVP, seven-time All-Star, five-time Silver Slugger Award winner, holder of the AL record for most home runs in a season with 62 home runs, and captain of the 2026 Team USA World Baseball Classic. These are just a few highlights from his long list of accomplishments. Aaron’s accomplishments have inspired not only players on the baseball field, but also athletes and fans around the world. We’re excited to see him again on the cover of MLB The Show 26. Now it’s up to you: how will you leave your mark?
