Impasse: No Progress in Negotiations

The negotiations between Fulham and PSV regarding the possible transfer of Ricardo Pepi are not exactly gaining momentum. In fact, both sides don’t seem to want to move at the moment.

According to it Eindhovens Dagblad no progress was made in the case on Tuesday. Fulham’s latest offer for Pepi is 32 million euros, but that offer was also rejected by PSV. At the moment, the Londoners have not yet made a new bid and it remains to be seen whether the club is prepared to offer more. PSV, in turn, is not prepared to compromise on the transfer fee that must be paid for Pepi. However, a definitive part has not yet been completed.

In the meantime, Pepi himself is still injured and therefore cannot be deployed for the Eindhoven team. However, he has appeared on the training field again. This absolutely does not mean that Pepi can be deployed for PSV’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The American is still suffering too much and it is expected that he will only be available again in three to four weeks.
