The Madrid Badminton Federation and, specifically, the Madrid Technical Center were represented at the Badminton Winter Camp Europe, which would take place in the Slovenian city of Laško.
In total, nine athletes and three technicians have represented national badminton in the Badminton Europe activity carried out from January 12 to 18, among whom were the player from Madrid, Polina Prykhodko, and the technical director of our federation.
It should also be noted that José Antonio Crespo has served as captain of the U15 and U17 teams, so the Madrid presence has been especially relevant both at a sporting and technical level.
This important international event has brought together young talents and technicians from all over Europe in a high-performance environment.
During this work week, the camp has combined technical and tactical sessions on the court with activities aimed at the integral development of the athlete, promoting international coexistence and the exchange of methodologies between players and coaches from different countries.
The Spanish and Madrid participation in this concentration represents a training experience of great value, since our athletes have been able to train in a demanding context, share the court with players from other countries and acquire learning that reinforces their sporting projection.
The presence of José Antonio Crespo on the Badminton Europe staff strengthens the recognition of Madrid and national technical work within the continental scope.
From the Madrid Badminton Federation we want to congratulate José Antonio and Polina for their participation in this European event.
