The 21st edition of the Mediterranean Games “Prishtina 2030”, to be held in Kosovo and the entire region, includes a wide-ranging sports program with 24 disciplines. The program includes both classic Olympic disciplines and several new additions.
The planned sports include athletics, boxing, judo, karate, weightlifting, wrestling, swimming, water polo, sailing, shooting, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, handball, 3×3 basketball, fencing, cycling (road and mountain bike), artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, badminton, taekwondo and futsal – which officially replaces traditional U21 football in this edition.
Organizers may add two or three more sports, including baseball5, canoe sprinting, kickboxing or skating disciplines, depending on future proposals.
This wide-ranging program is one of the largest in the history of the Mediterranean Games and reflects the organizers’ vision of an inclusive and vibrant sporting event.
