Mercasevilla Sponsors Caja87 Basketball Team | Grassroots Sports News

Mercasevilla sponsors one of the Caja87 Basketball youth teams, the Cadet 2011 team, which is now called Mercasevilla San Pablo Caja87, thus reinforcing its commitment to grassroots sports and the training of young talents in the city.

The agreement has been presented in the San Pablo pavilion by the mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, accompanied by the president of Mercasevilla, Evelia Rincón, along with the president and vice president of the club, Gonzalo and Sergio Crespo; and the head of Institutional Relations of the club, Raúl Pérez.

During the event, the mayor highlighted that “supporting grassroots sports is investing in the future of Seville, because in these categories not only athletes are trained, but people with values such as effort, discipline and teamwork.”

Mercasevilla is part of the Mercasa Network, the largest public network of wholesale markets for fresh products in the world, which supplies more than 30 million people and has 24 markets throughout Spain, constituting a fundamental link in the agri-food value chain.

This sponsorship is part of the municipal and Mercasevilla commitment to promote healthy lifestyle habits and support initiatives that strengthen the social and sports fabric of Seville, especially in the grassroots categories.
