The leader of the Western Conference further consolidated his status with the Rockets (111-91), by achieving his fifth victory in a row, bringing his record, the best in the league, to 35 victories for seven defeats. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the reigning MVP, scored 20 points, Chet Holmgren added 18, and AJay Mitchell 17 for Oklahoma City, which made the difference in the last quarter, inflicting a severe 34-16 on the Rockets.

Houston, with an awkward Kevin Durant at three points (0 of 5), but who still scored 19 points, failed to respond and keep up with the pace at the end of the game.

San Antonio croque les Bucks

If the Spurs got the better of the Bucks at home (119-101), the evening almost took a bad turn for the locals. In Dallas, Klay Thompson climbed to fourth place in the ranking of the best three-point scorers in NBA history, making six long-range shots for a total of 26 points during the Mavericks’ victory (144-122) against Utah.

With 2,809 career three-pointers, Thompson passed Damian Lillard (2,804) and moved into fourth place in the rankings, topped by his former Golden State Warriors teammate Stephen Curry.

The Magic takes on the Grizzlies in Berlin

For the very first game in NBA history in Germany, Orlando won against Memphis its 23^e victory of the season (118-111). This match played in Berlin inspired the Magic’s German, Franz Wagner (18 points, 9 rebounds) who allowed the Magic to make the difference against the Grizzlies at the end of the match. But it is Paulo Banchero, with 26 points and 13 rebounds, who comes out with the best stats for Orlando.

Memphis led by 20 points at halftime before the Magic tightened their defense to turn the tide and inflict a decisive 26-12 in the third quarter.
