F1 2024: Red Bull Launch – Team Reveals Begin

Athe new era of Formula 1. The next morning (January 16th), Red Bull and Racing Bulls will begin official presentationswhen there are 11 days left until the private test in Barcelona (January 26th to 30th).

The two teams linked to the energy drink brand have a new power unit partner – Ford, which thus returns to the premier class more than 20 years later. The event will be in Detroit and is scheduled for 3am (Continental Portugal time) – so, in local time, it will still be Thursday, but in Europe it will already be Friday.

Red Bull retains 2025 runner-up and four-time world champion Max Verstappen and promoted Isack Hadjar after a solid debut season last year. Racing Bulls continues with Liam Lawson and debuts Arvid Lindblad in Formula 1.

It is not expected that, at the event next morning, the final versions of the single-seaters will be known, being another indication of the decoration. At this stage, teams usually keep their designs secret – especially in a year in which there are significant regulatory changes.

Six new features next week

After Red Bull and Racing Bulls set the tone, six announcements are scheduled for next week. On January 19th (Monday), Haas will show the decoration it will use.

A day later, there will be the official presentation of the newcomer Audi and the Honda powertrain (which will equip the Aston Martin). On January 22, Mercedes will share digital images of its single-seater, one day before the presentation of the Alpine (in Barcelona) and Ferrari teams.

After the private tests in Barcelona, scheduled for January 26th to 30th, the official presentations return on February 2nd with Mercedes, the day before Williams reveals its livery. On February 8th, it will be Cadillac’s turn to do the same, while on February 9th, Aston Martin and the 2025 champion, McLaren, will present themselves.

Then from February 11th to 13th is the first official test in Bahrain in Sakhir, which hosts the second test from February 18th to 20th. The start of the season is scheduled for March 6th to 8th with the Australian GP in Melbourne.

Cadillac will soon debut in Formula 1 and is already ready for its first outing on the track at the shakedown in Barcelona. Black dominates, not being the team’s definitive color scheme.
