The New Year has started in the Ropaži sports center with the “Winter Cup 2026” in men’s volleyball. On the morning of January 11, 4 men’s teams gathered in the Ropaži gymnasium. “LIBERNETIX” and “ULBROKA” teams were the first to take the field. The first game turned out to be very intense, each team won one set (26:24/24:26) and needed the decisive, short set to 15. “LIBERNETIX” players proved to be more successful, winning 15:12.
The second game of the day was even similar and tense, in which “SERGEJ and CO” competed against “RESERVISTS”. We also needed an additional short set, and “RESERVISTS” won by only two points (25:19/14:25/16:14).
Throughout the day, the gym was full of competitive spirit and a friendly atmosphere. As it turned out, the tournament was opened with the “final” game. For one point in the table, “LIBERNETIX” won the first place, “ULBROKA” won the second place, and “RESERVISTS” won the bronze awards.
