Among the most valuable players of each age in the years between 16 and 40 are professionals from up to 14 clubs, with the majority from FC Bayern (five) and a quartet from FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, current champion of the Champions League. Furthermore, the most sought-after footballers by age worldwide represent 13 different nationalities and have market values ranging from 4 to 200 million euros.
Compared to the beginning of July, FC Barcelona loses a significant number in this ranking in favor of Bayern. The two veterans Manuel Neuer (39 years, 4 million) and Harry Kane (32 years, 65 million) have been able to defend their supremacy, Joshua Kimmich (30 years, 40 million), Michael Olise (24) and the young Lennart Karl (17) join the list after respective revaluations: Olise has become the second most valuable player in the Bundesliga with 130 million euros and the youthful Karl, who enjoys 60 million, is now the most sought-after 17-year-old footballer in the world.
Great presence of FC Barcelona and PSG
The most valuable professionals of the moment are 18, 25 and 27 years old and all are valued at 200 million euros: Lamine Yamal, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé. While Barcelona and Real Madrid have more players, Haaland is the only member of Manchester City in this age ranking.
In the past, the situation was very different. Compared to last time, the Spaniard Rodri (75 million euros) has been left out, surpassed by Barça’s Raphinha (80 million) in the 29-year-old group. There are also Pedri (23.140 million) and veteran forward Robert Lewandowski (37.9 million euros). Real Madrid, for its part, is still present with Arda Güler (20 years, 90 million) and Jude Bellingham (22 years, 160 million). The latter prevents Jamal Musiala (130 million) from appearing in this classification, despite being, along with Olise, the Bundesliga MVP.
PSG also contributes a large block headed by the last Ballon d’Or winner, Ousmane Dembélé (28 years, 100 million). Among the players aged 19, 20 and 21, Warren Zaïre-Emery (50 million euros), Désiré Doué (90 million like Güler) and João Neves (110 million) also stand out.
Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
The German forward Thomas Müller, who plays this season for the Vancouver Whitecaps, is the most valued 36-year-old with 5 million euros. With Lionel Messi of Inter Miami (38 years, 15 million), the MLS once again has a very prominent presence. And, of course, his eternal rival Cristiano Ronaldo of Al-Nassr (40 years, 12 million) cannot be missing from this ranking either. Otherwise, there is no other footballer outside of the five major leagues.
