- academy
At Bellmare Football Academy, we held a “winter training camp directly taught by the academy director” for 3rd to 5th grade elementary school students in the reinforced special class and super class over two days, Wednesday, December 25, 2025 and Thursday, December 26, 2025.
This camp was led by Academy Director and U-18 Coach Jiro Hiratsuka and the U-18 coaching staff, and was held with the aim of improving individual skills and deeply learning the principles of both offense and defense that Bellmare Football Academy values.

On the first day, the theme was “stopping and kicking,” and we shared techniques taught directly by the director. The players maintained a high level of concentration and took on challenges over and over again, working to improve the precision of their plays while receiving detailed technical guidance.

Also participating on this day were players Mosuke Imazawa and Yuto Hara from Shonan Bellmare U-18. By experiencing the play and attitude of their seniors up close, the participating players were greatly inspired, and their attitude toward training was even more passionate.

In the defense-themed lecture, we learned about how to think and make judgments in interpersonal situations, and in the subsequent defensive training, we developed offense and defense with a strong awareness of duels. The tenacity of the players was evident throughout the game when it came to the ball and transitions, and it was impressive to see how the players helped each other improve.

On the second day, the theme was attacks, and lectures and training were combined. On this day, Shonan Bellmare U-18’s players Yuuma Sakino and Hideaki Matsumura newly participated, as well as Momosuke Imazawa and Yuto Hara, who had been participating since the first day. A total of four U-18 players gave demonstrations and played together during training, showing us up close their actual speed, decision-making, and how to use their bodies.

The players paid serious attention to each play, and many were seen actively taking on challenges during training immediately after the match.

During attack training, we focused on checking the players’ positions and movements to score goals, as well as their plays with an awareness of their relationships with their teammates. There was an increase in positive decisions and continuous movements, and the growth of the players was felt everywhere.

In the final game, students put into practice what they learned over the two days. I was able to see him thinking, making decisions, and sharing his thoughts with his teammates while playing, and it was impressive to see him trying to express what he had learned on the pitch.

At the end of the camp, the players in each grade who showed particularly outstanding efforts were recognized as MVPs. A colored paper signed by a Shonan Bellmare top team player was presented directly by Academy Director Jiro Hiratsuka. Applause spread throughout the venue, praising not only the athletes who received awards, but also the good work of their teammates, making it a great moment of encouragement for the athletes.

The participating players showed great growth not only in terms of technique, but also in terms of their understanding of soccer and their approach to it, making the two days extremely intensive and fruitful despite the short time.

At Bellmare Football Academy, we will continue to implement training programs and training camps tailored to age and level, with the aim of creating a training environment that maximizes the potential of each player.

Please continue to pay attention to the development activities of Bellmare Football Academy.
