McDonald’s Cup has been bringing children the joy of the game, fair play and team spirit for more than a quarter of a century. Involve your pupils in the first grade of primary school in the competition, which annually draws thousands of young footballers into a great adventure. Last year, over 2,100 schools took part and more than 3,600 teams were formed, enabling almost 43,000 children to hit the pitch. You can nominate your teams in three categories. Category A for the youngest footballers, category B for 4th and 5th graders, and there is also group M for junior high school students.
Organizers believe that this year’s edition will surpass this number: “We are looking forward to great sports performances by pupils and pupils from all regions of the Czech Republic and we believe that this year will once again break the record in the number of schools and children registered,” he says Lucia Poláčekováchairman of the organizing committee.

The tournament schedule remains similar to last year. During the spring months, class, school and district rounds will take place, followed by regional finals.
