Initially, head coach Miroslav Klose was pleased with positive news regarding the staff. With the exception of Henri Koudossou, who is still out due to illness, and Eryk Grzywacz, who is currently completing his rehabilitation program, all other players reported fit for the start of the training week. However, Adriano Grimaldi had to abandon the morning session shortly after it began. The results of the medical examination are currently pending.
Adam Markhiyev and Tim Drexler trained over the full distance, but worked individually in the afternoon: “Adam came to me straight after training and said that he would like to train in the afternoon too. Sometimes I have to slow him down a bit and the goal is for him to be fully involved again on Wednesday,” said the FCN head coach optimistically about Markhiyev’s full return. Goalkeeper Michal Kukucka, however, was no longer part of the training group as he is in final discussions about a possible loan.

Between the two sessions, the club also had a visit from the German Football League. A delegation honored the young defensive player as a local player. This includes all players who went through a club’s youth academy for at least three years and then made their professional debut as a licensed player for the same club.
