On Friday February 27 at 8:30 p.m., the Belgian Lions coached by Julien Mahé will host Finland at the Dôme de Charleroi. On Sunday March 1, the Lions will return to Finland for a second clash, this time in Espoo, Finland. These two matches are part of the qualifying campaign for the 2027 Basketball World Cup.
The first two matches of the group stage took place in November. The Lions then lost both in France and at home against Hungary. They are therefore now forced to continue their journey in the position of pursuers in their group.
