Lamisha Musonda, 33-year-old former Belgian Chelsea player, published a message through Instagram in which he reported that for two years suffers from a chronic illness without specifying which one, but revealed that he is close to death.

“Realizing that I only have a few days to live, I also realize that I had many people by my side and I will always cherish the memories. Life is hard, but it is magnificent. “Life is full of ups and downs, and no one can truly understand the pain you feel,” he said.

“These last two years have been particularly difficult and challenging for me. “It is with great sadness that I announce to you that I am fighting to recover my health,” the player added in a first message.

Lamisha Musonda left Anderlecht in 2012 to join Chelsea Accompanied by his brothers Tika and Charly, he trained with the first team, but could not make his debut in the Premier League, so in 2014 he returned to Belgium to play for Mechelen.

He also played in Spain with Llagostera and Palamós, both clubs in 2018, then ended up in the Mazembe of Congo in 2019 and decided to retire just a few months later. He was also selected Under-21 with the Belgian national team.
