Yesterday, Nintendo released a new trailer for Mario Tennis: Fever Mania , and in case you missed it, the trailer highlights amiibo support.
In a short paragraph at the end of the video, Nintendo detailed how this new game will be linked with its NFC doll series.
When you touch the Nintendo amiibo listed below, you’ll get themed tennis designs based on these characters. The fine print states that this change “will not affect ball speed.”
No other features related to amiibo support have been mentioned yet, but we will keep you posted if we have further news.

Nintendo has previously added amiibo support in Mario Tennis: Super Smash for Wii U, allowing players to train and level up characters (similar to Super Smash Bros.) and use them in matches.
