If structures and surfaces constitute an important part of the appeal for fans, the actors of the game are obviously essential.
And if most of the players are appreciated, some are among the favorites.
For example, Jannik Sinner was voted “fan favorite player” for the third consecutive year in 2025, a recognition that also rewards his fair-play and class.
Federer chosen 19 times favorite player
Historically, Roger Federer dominated this ranking for almost two decades, with 19 awards won, proof that the bond between a player and his audience can last far beyond the raw results.
And with the “Big Three” (Djokovic, Nadal, Federer), they accumulated 66 Grand Slam titles between the three, occupying the collective imagination for more than 18 years.
Finally, figures like Gustavo Kuerten also marked their era not only for their play, but also for their warm personality, to the point of being elected “fans’ favorite player” in 2000.
