Budo-Club Eckental: Gold DJB Club Certificate

The judo department of the Budo Club Eckental is proud of the recognition we received from the German Judo Association.

We have been awarded the club certificate of the German Judo Association in gold!

We were previously in the silver league, but thanks to numerous campaigns and the great commitment of all officials and activists, we have now been able to move up a level. Since the beginning of the year, the certificate has been restructured into three levels (silver, gold, platinum) and with more comprehensive requirements. It requires the fulfillment of nine assessment categories, which are classified in qualitative and quantitative gradations.

In addition to individual trainer qualifications and regular participation in further training, offers in popular and competitive sports are of course a prerequisite for good club work. It is also important in the Budo Club to promote young talent and to provide them with special tasks (instructor, organization). In addition, the instructors have all completed the course on preventing sexual and interpersonal violence from the German Judo Association.

So that fun is not neglected in addition to the hard daily training routine, the Budo Club offers a variety of non-sporting activities, which were also submitted to the DJB in order to achieve the club certificate.

We are proud that we have now been able to achieve gold. The certificate is now valid until the end of 2027.
