Love sows hope and lights up the future together. Social forces continue to support the development of rural education in Yunnan
Kunming Information Port News A love donation event with the theme of “Hand in hand, heart to heart, let love spread” was held recently in Shima Wanxiao, Binju Town, Binchuan County, Yunnan Province. A caring team from Kunming joined hands with local caring enterprises to bring a wealth of cultural and sports supplies to the children of this rural primary school, and extended warmth and care from the campus to the families of poor students, vividly demonstrating the enthusiastic support and solid responsibility of social forces for rural education.
On the day of the event, the caring enterprise Binchuan Yunyu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and caring people donated charity materials worth a total of 20,000 yuan to Shima Wan Primary School, including various sports equipment such as badminton, table tennis, and basketball, as well as a large number of school supplies such as homework books, schoolbags, and skipping ropes. These materials not only enrich the children’s after-school life, but also provide them with a practical guarantee for their peaceful study and all-round development.
In the simple and sincere donation ceremony, the sixth grade student representatives wore bright red scarves for the caring people. After receiving the brand-new school bags and school supplies, the children’s faces burst into bright smiles. A student representative expressed his gratitude in a young but firm voice: “Thank you uncle and aunt for your love. We will definitely study hard and help others in the future.”
Zhong Kuo, the person in charge of the caring enterprise, said at the event: “We are very pleased to be able to do something tangible for the healthy growth of children and rural education. The development of the enterprise cannot be separated from the support of the society. It is our responsibility to give back to the society and pass on warmth.”
After the ceremony, the love team also visited four poor student families and sent 500 yuan in condolence money and living and learning materials to each poor student family to ensure that the care was accurate and warm to the heart.
It is understood that the initiator of this event, the Kunming Love Team, has been moving forward for fifteen years since it was founded by Mr. Zhang Dingyuan in 2010. Its footprints of love have spread to many rural schools in Yunnan mountainous areas, continuing to deliver care and light up hope for children in remote areas. This transfer of warmth from “campus” to “family” is an epitome of this team’s lasting good deeds.
Rural revitalization puts education first. This charity event is not only a material gift, but also a spiritual inspiration. It clearly demonstrates the positive actions of all sectors of society to work together to help consolidate and expand the results of poverty alleviation and comprehensively promote rural revitalization. The continuous philanthropic deeds of caring teams and enterprises have injected more vitality into rural education and laid a more solid foundation for talent training.
