Obereño Sports Festival 2025: Dates & Details

This Sunday, December 28, the Obereño 2025 Sports Festival will be held at Casa del Bicentenario. On this occasion it is named after the Professor, Graduate in Physical Education, Angel Dalmau, in recognition of his contribution to the sports development of the community. Among the winners of the disciplines, the Newcomer and Athlete of the Year Award will be presented.

In addition, recognitions will be given to:

1- German Club Bowling Team: For its participation in the provincial Bowling championship.
2- Raúl Paredes: For being chosen to join the Triad of the Social Judo Secretariat of the Argentine Judo Confederation.

3- Carlos Marcelo Míguez: On the 30th anniversary of the historic championship obtained in the National Tourism Class 2 of motorsports.

4- Las Valkirias: For the organization and promotion of various sports activities during the year, among the most notable the exhibition of the Argentine Beach Volleyball Team.

5- Organizer of the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) competitions: to Joaquín Sandoval, for the organization of two large events during 2025, which generated great interest and participation. In addition to the promotion of new sports disciplines.

6- Taro Nakatsuka: For his participation in the Argentine Motocross Championship, where he participated in eight dates and in five of them he was on the podium, adding 209 points that placed him in 3rd position in the 125cc category.

7- “Friends Crazy About Fishing” Bar: For their achievements in the Surubí Fishing Integration Contest with returns, held in Ituzaingó (Corrientes). 2nd place in the largest piece (93cm) and 3rd in the sum of places per team.

8- Nicolás Jaquet: For his participation in the provincial Bocce championship.

9- Ignacio Chávez: For his outstanding participation in the discipline of Freestyle football.

3rd place in the World Superball. South American Champion, Argentine Champion, Madrid City Cup Champion (Spain). Placing itself in 1st place in the Argentine ranking.

10- Glocker-Balbuena Binomial: For obtaining the provincial Rally runner-up in the AZ Light category, aboard the Renault 18.

11- Lower divisions of women’s soccer of the Obereña League: For the launch of the only Misiones league for training women’s soccer, from 2024 and with under-12 competition starting this year.

Special mention for the Newcom, Tiburones and Atalanta teams: For their outstanding participation in the provincial league, in addition to the constant growth of this discipline, being one of the most popular in Misiones.
