Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire: Rising Archery Star

During a summer camp, young Cléo Tulli-Priou discovered archery, just to have fun.

Subsequently, a course in this discipline was organized by the Basse-Goulaine Arc Club. She registered and came out with one certainty: “It’s this sport that I want to do but if it came as a surprise mes parents ».

Kevin Étourneau, her coach, immediately sees in her a beginner archer in the making: “ She is calm, patient, attentive, disciplined, passionate, rigorous and ambitious in the good sense of the word ».

Join the France division

Supported by her parents, it didn’t take long for her to win the U13 titles: regional champion, vice champion of France. Moving to U15, she ranks 4e in the French championship, vice regional champion, 3e in the ranking of youth tournaments.

She joined the region’s youth center. As the latter has just closed, she chose to join the one in Compiègne, renowned for being one of the best in France (Archers de Boé). Having moved up to U 15, her next objectives for 2026 are to finish in the best place in the youth tournament and French Youth Championship.

“My goal would be to join the France pole to participate in international competitions and why not to participate in the Olympic Games. It may be a dream but I believe in it. Today, very independent, I successfully combine high-level sport and studies. I meet my parents every other week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the towns of Basse-Goulaine and Saint-Sébastien who participated in financing my project. On this occasion I am launching an appeal to support me in this adventure which requires financial and material resources”.
