The twentieth stage of Journey of the Flame of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games is scheduled for 27 December 2025. It will take place between Lazio and Campania, from Frosinone, a historic city characterized by ancient medieval walls and a center rich in culture and traditions, up to Benevento, and will also cross the municipalities of Cassino and Telese Terme.

The program of the day
The convoy will leave at 11.35 from Frosinonewith the first torchbearers who will accompany the Flame through the city center, among historic squares and characteristic views. The second segment will take place at Cassinowith an expected arrival at 2.45pm, where the Flame will cross the main streets and touch the famous Abbey of Montecassino, a symbol of resilience and European culture.
The convoy will reach Telese Terme at 4.50 pm, immersing yourself in the charm of its historic spas and city squares, before continuing towards Beneventowhere the city celebration will take place in Piazza IV Novembre, with shows, artistic performances and moments of celebration open to local communities, celebrating the arrival of the Flame and the anticipation of the Winter Olympic Games.
During the day, the Flame – accompanied by a separate convoy from the main one – will pass through some places: Sermonetaone of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy; Pomigliano d’Arco and the Hagia Sophia Complexemblem of the historical and religious heritage of Benevento.
