Women’s Hockey: Heerenveen Loss & Bentveld’s World Cup Result

After two away wins in a row (Sparta and Feyenoord), SC Heerenveen will play an away match for the third time on Saturday. Everyone emerged from the cup match with Feyenoord without complaints.

“We are unscathed so far,” says trainer Robin Veldman. “We are now in the second day after the match, in which recovery is still in full swing. But everyone, except Levi Smans, is available against Heracles.”

The match against Heracles Almelo is the last fan before the winter break. Veldman warns about the fact that the team from Almelo has managed to score easily in recent weeks.

“They are not a team that overwhelms opponents with fast combination play, but they have been very efficient in recent games,” he says.

“They managed to score three times in the away match against PSV. That says something about the danger they can create.”
