Lucky for Fulham’s Joachim Andersen.

The Dane’s finger pointed in the wrong direction but he was able to play on against Nottingham.

In Fulham’s 1-0 win at home against Nottingham, Andersen’s misfortune struck in the 24th minute.

He got into a typical height duel with Igor Jesus when he looked down at his hand and started gesturing for his teammates to play the ball out to stop the play.

He had a good reason for that.

Andersen’s left ring finger had become dislocated and pointed in the wrong direction. Andersen received medical attention on the field and Jesus – who did nothing unseemly – appeared to apologize to the Dane.
