Leerdam – Badminton Club Leerdam recorded another convincing victory in the return match against BC Thiela last weekend. In the doubles, singles and mixed matches, the players were clearly too strong for their opponents from Tiel. Edwin de Weerd and Sherena Vink were absent.
This season it appears that the third division is too high for the team from Tiel. Both the men’s doubles of Jelmer Agema and Mats van ‘t Pad and the women’s doubles of Ans van ‘t Pad and Meltem Roozen were easily won in two sets by BC Leerdam.
Mats van ‘t Pad had to work hard in his singles match, but in the end he managed to win fairly easily in two sets. The single games of Agema, Van ‘t Pad and Roozen were also won with large numbers. Both mixed matches had the same course, they were also easily won in two sets. Which made the score 8-0 for BC Leerdam.
The next match is Saturday January 10 against BV Almere
