The African Cup of Nations in Morocco is a giant party. This Sunday, the Atlas Lions opened the competition with a dazzling opening ceremony and a deserved victory against the Comoros (2-0). Enough to ideally launch this CAN which many announce as “the greatest in history”.
In every corner of the country, the celebration is total. Several fan zones have been set up in the different cities hosting the competition. Concerts are offered there and supporters of different nations can meet there to enjoy the matches and celebrate African football together.
Even the Moroccan workers, hard at work to make the party even more beautiful, are having an excellent time. In a video circulating on social networks, we can see one dancing on the stage of a fan zone, screwdriver in hand, in front of all the fans. All smiles, he takes advantage of the moment while his comrades are busy finalizing the last details. The scene took place on Saturday, on Quai Souissi in Rabat, on the eve of the start of the competition.
“We are in a fan zone, the whole audience is there, the concert is about to start, there are still the last adjustments to be made,” smiles an Internet user while commenting on the scene. Look at the guy dancing, the others behind are insulting him, he doesn’t want to let go of the screwdriver. It’s not ready yet but he doesn’t care, he’s here, he’s enjoying his life. It’s typical of the Moroccan mentality (laughs). Truly, what a beautiful country! »
