After a scare from the Malaysians, the Indians held their nerve under pressure, becoming only the fourth Indian duo after Jwala-Diju, PV Sindhu, and Saina Nehwal to reach the BWF World Tour Finals semi-finals.

Satwik-Chirag start strong in the decider, opening up an 11-9 lead before the change of ends, putting themselves in a promising position.

A stark shift from the first game sees Satwik and Chirag taking the reins this time. While coach Tan Kim Her had been doing all the talking earlier, the Indian duo now voice their strategies and steer the game, with the coach stepping back to let them lead.

After trailing 13-18 past the mid-game interval, the Indians fought back to narrow the gap to 17-19, but Chia-Soh sealed the game with two quick points. Now the pressure is on Satwik-Chirag, they must take the second game to keep their semi-final hopes alive.

Malaysia have edged ahead in a closely fought game, leading 20-17 as Satwik-Chirag try to claw back in the intense battle.

Game 1 is underway, and Satwik-Chirag find themselves in a tight battle. The match has kicked off with intense, fast-paced rallies, showcasing some high-quality badminton. The Indians have held their ground well and are just a point behind at 10-11.

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are on Court 2, ready for their final Group B showdown against Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik.

Satwik-Chirag top Group B after two wins from two matches. They edged past Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang in a comeback thriller on Wednesday and overcame Fajar Alfian–Muhammad Shohibul Fikri 21-11, 16-21, 21-11 on Thursday. The former world No. 1 pair will face second seeds Aaron Chia–Soh Wooi Yik in their final group match on Friday.
