Princess Kusuma Wardani won the title of best dressed at the gala dinner BWF World Tour Finals 2025. He hopes that Indonesian culture will become increasingly known to the world.

After performing well in Thailand by winning silver and bronze medals at the 2025 SEA Games, Putri immediately went to Hangzhou to compete in the year-ending World Tour Finals which will take place from 17-21 December.

As is customary before a match is held, the night before the BWF World Tour is held a number of agendas are prepared for the invited players. Including a gala dinner where the best clothes will be chosen.

Not surprisingly, a number of players will wear clothes that match the set theme. Coincidentally, this year the organizing committee set one of the themes as national costume.

Putri chose a blue kebaya as her outfit this time and it turned out that the costume won her the title of best dress.

“I didn’t expect to be best dressed last night at the Gala Dinner. I was given a reference from the shop where I ordered this dress,” said Putri in a statement via the federation, Tuesday (16/12/2025).

“I just said that I wanted to order something like a kebaya to represent Indonesia, especially the Javanese tribe which flows in my blood, finally it became the clothes I wore last night. Hopefully Indonesian culture will become more well known to the world,” said the world number seven player.

In connection with the first match which will be played starting Wednesday (17/12), Putri said she would give her best game. Moreover, his first opponent was world number 1 An Se Young.

“Tomorrow I want to play nothing to lose and I want to play my best game against An Se Young,” he said.

“Certainly the silver and bronze medals at the SEA Games yesterday increased my enthusiasm and motivation to play here,” emphasized this player from Tangerang, Banten.
