Arne Slot talks about Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool.

BOLASPORT.COM – Liverpool coach, Arne Slot, gave a short answer when asked about Mohamed Salah’s future after the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

At the weekend, Mohamed Salah made a controversial statement which caused a big polemic in Liverpool.

Ex winger AS Roma openly said that he was feeling disappointed at being scapegoated for Liverpool’s inconsistent performance this season.

Mo Salah then criticized Arne Slot for often leaving him on the bench.

He also indicated that the match against Brighton & Hove Albion would be close matchweek 16 Premier League, Saturday (13/12/2025), will be his last match with Liverpool.

After fighting The Seagulls, Mo Salah will defend the Egyptian national team at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Because of this controversial statement, the 33 year old player was removed from the line-up list (DSP) against Inter Milan and was predicted to be absent again against Brighton.

However, the wind direction changed after Arne Slot and Mo Salah met on Friday (12/12/2025) local time.

The meeting produced positive results where Mo Salah was again included in Liverpool’s squad to face Brighton at Anfield.
