At the “Galileo Galilei” Scientific High School, the stage of the national federal circuit organized by Tycke Sport
The stage of the Federal Baddy Cup Badminton Tournament, included in the national federal circuit, organized by Tycke Sport ESD in collaboration with the “Galileo Galilei” Scientific High School of Lamezia Terme, ended successfully yesterday, Friday 12 December 2025.
The event is part of the “Vola Con Noi 2025” project of the Italian Badminton Federation (FIBa), an initiative financed by Sport and Health and assigned, for the province of Catanzaro, only to Tycke Sport following a federal tender. The tournament represents the prelude to the closure of the project, scheduled for 19 December 2025.
The competition, which mainly involved eight first classes of the Lamezzo Scientific High School, was also open to non-student athletes or students registered with Tycke Sport from other classes. As many as 38 athletes took part in the final phase and competed under the careful guidance of the federal technicians Raso and Perri of Tycke Sport, chaired by Pasquale Cimino.
The Results of the Tournament

Pironaggi and Iannotti (Winners)

Women’s Doubles:

The tournament took place in an atmosphere of joy and fun, with the maximum collaboration of the staff of Sports Science teachers who allowed the students to approach two emerging racket sports, namely Badminton and Pickleball. Tycke Sport, assignee of this project, works continuously with its mission of promoting these sports in the territory through a qualified and top-level staff and firmly believes in the partnership which sees it involved with collaboration agreements with many sporting and non-sporting associations of the Third Sector.
The event also saw the presence of Lucky Friends athletes, who attended as an audience. Lucky Friends, together with Mamas Lucky, is a partner of Tycke Sport in the supply of athletes for the disciplines of Badminton and ParaBadminton – who have already brought success to Tycke Sport (remember Lodi and Potenza 2025) – and is a project partner, again with Mamas Lucky, in the very important project “Sport di Tutti prisons 2024” with the Juvenile Penal Institute of Catanzaro, which will end in December 2026. These initiatives underline the goal of playing any sport together, promoting integration.
The event concluded with the delivery of a commemorative plaque to the Headmaster, Dr. Antonella Cerra, who supported the start and continuation of the project.
