I, Fabiano Barreira, President of the Board of Directors of Fortaleza EC SAF, hereby officially announce the continuation of Marcelo Paz as CEO of our SAF. After an extremely productive alignment meeting, conducted with transparency and mutual respect, we reached a consensus that reaffirms the club’s confidence in one of the most successful directors in tricolor history.
During the meeting, we discussed in depth the current situation at Fortaleza and agreed that Marcelo Paz will fully fit into the salary readjustment necessary for the scenario we are experiencing. This decision reflects his commitment to the project, to the institution and, above all, to the Tricolor fans, who have always recognized his unrestricted dedication to the club.
I speak not just as a manager, but as someone who deeply believes in the power of reconstruction. I believe that Paz’s stay will be vital for Fortaleza to get back on track to victory and place itself once again in the place that best suits it: the elite of Brazilian football.
