After falling far behind in the opening slide of the downhill race in St. Moritz, she was a whopping 98 hundredths ahead of the finish line.

Oldest winner of all time
Lindsey Vonn is thus the oldest in Alpine in terms of both women and men to win the World Cup, this was the 83rd World Cup victory.
– It was a statement from another world. It was crushing. What she delivers today was outclassed. You are actually speechless with admiration, says Norwegian alpine expert Kjetil Jansrud VG.
The American made her World Cup debut at the age of 16 25 years ago in 2000.
Over the next 19 years, she won 82 World Cup victories and four overall victories.
Only compatriot Mikaela Shiffrin is ahead on the same list with 104 World Cup victories.
On Saturday there is another downhill race and on Sunday there is a super-G in the Swiss alpine resort.
On the men’s side, Ingemar Stenmark is the best at 86 World Cup victories.
