Persib could actually take a quick lead over Bangkok United after getting a penalty. However, Uilliam Barros’ execution which was pushed over by goalkeeper Patiwat Khammai caused the ball to hit the goalpost and go out of the field.

Bojan Hodak regretted this failure. The Croatian coach highlighted Maung Bandung’s failure to utilize the penalty kick.

“In this match our team played well. However, we were again unable to score a goal from the penalty spot, this has been recorded four times so far,” said Hodak as quoted on the club website.

“This is the fifth competition during a period of 20 days. We made some changes,” said Hodak adding.

Hodak then gave appreciation for the struggle of Thom Haye and his friends who became champions of Group G ACL 2.

“I feel the atmosphere in this match is fantastic. This achievement is also a good record for football in Indonesia,” said Hodak.
