NBA prediction

The rivalry between Lakers and Spurs is renewed and, this time, it takes on a further tone, that of the quarter final of the NBA CUP which enriches the meaning of this match scheduled for Thursday at 04.00. The two teams have almost the same record this season (one more win for LA) but have decidedly different odds on the winner of this match. The reason for this has various components and, one of the first, certainly lies in the field factor: Spurs certainly don’t have the same performance away from home compared to what they have at home. Then, Los Angeles will have all its champions available, unlike San Antonio which will instead have to give up, among others, Victor Wembanyama. Finally, no less important are the recent precedents between the two teams which reflect a better past for the yellow and purple who have prevailed in five of the last six matches.

However, Spurs do not start out beaten. A few days ago, Orlando’s victory arrived, which was certainly not in the predictions and in the last match, San Antonio won against New Orleans, securing the success already in the first half. However, it will be a spectacle, for the setting, for the moment of the two teams for the stakes which, in this case, has the characteristics of the trophy, won by the Lakers in December 2023.
