The NBA Cup determines the league’s schedule on these days. The Phoenix Suns are in the quarterfinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It starts on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, December 11th, at 1:30 a.m. at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
The Suns were able to secure some important wins last week. There was a 108:125 win against Los Angeles and they also beat the Timberwolves on the road. However, in LA, Devin Booker suffered a groin injury. One of their best players had to take a break for the last two games. Head coach Jordan Ott gave the all-clear at the beginning of the week. However, it remains to be seen whether he will be able to play in Oklahoma City today.
The Thunder continue to be the dominant power in the NBA there. The champions emerged victorious 23 times from 24 games. Only the Trail Blazers have been able to defeat them so far. Things got close against the Suns about two weeks ago, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was able to stop the comeback again. Will the hosts go to Las Vegas or will Phoenix pull off a surprise this time?
