A staple of the international judo calendar, the TIJM is renowned for its demanding team format: seven senior male fighters per team, from –60 kg to +100 kg, with four individual victories necessary to ensure overall victory. This structure ensures intense tactical duels and momentum shifts that keep spectators – and coaches – on the edge of their seats throughout the competition.
More than 100 judokas took to the tatamis, representing France, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Monaco and, for a particularly celebrated return, Japan, whose participation added prestige and enthusiasm to this landmark edition.
The event once again underlined Monaco’s strong commitment to martial arts and its ability to host high-level international sport. With its blend of athletic excellence, national pride and friendly rivalry, the 30th anniversary of the TIJM confirmed its place as one of the most respected judo team tournaments in Europe.
