In one week, the floorball club “SĀC” has caused the first losses of the season to the leaders of both the top league and the first league in their home games in Đāži. “Aizkraukle/Koknese” team ended their streak of ten victories in Adaži on Saturday.
Until the middle of the second third, the people of Adažni had not only kept their own goal intact, but also put the ball into the visitors’ goal four times. In the third quarter, Aizkraukle’s floorball players reduced the difference to two goals (6:4), but soon after, the ball entered their goal for the seventh time – 7:4 in favor of “SĀC”. Ralfs Celminņš (2+1) scored three performance points for the winners, Artis Saldatenoks (2+0) and Kristians Millers (1+1) scored two each.
This “START” floorball club was only the fourth success in 11 games of the season. In the tournament table of the Eastern Group of the First League, the Ādaži team occupies a modest eighth place (12 points).
Floorball club “Baloži” (16 p. 11 sp.) is in the seventh position in the table of the Western group, which on Sunday hosted the Talus NSS/”TX Koks” team, from 2:4 they achieved 5:4, then they lost again 5:8 and this time they did not play again – 7:8 (Kristofer Caplin 2+1, Robert Digul 1+2, Rūdis Jermacān 0+3).
In the game of the second league of Latvia, the floorball players of the “Coyote”/”IxCom”/FBKV sports club “Coyote”/”IxCom”/FBKV lost to the team “Saldus florbols” with a difference of three goals (4:7, 6:9), but in the last 11 minutes of the regular time they managed to score five goals in a row and won the third victory in 12 games of the season – 11:9 (4+1 for Salaman Lemantovič, 4+1 for Jānis Levanović 2+1, Kalvi Kliest 2+0, Daniel Bunk 1+4).
On the other hand, the floorball players of FK “Ulbroka” visited the floorball club “Ogre” and overcame a three-goal deficit (4:4 after 1:4), however, in this match as well, the home team managed to gain a decisive advantage in the last ten minutes – the Ulbroka team lost 6:8 (2+0 to Armand Bērziņš, 1+1 to Arti Krastiņš and Guido Miez).
In the table of the Western group, after 12 rounds, FK “Ulbroka” is in third place (23 points), but “coyotes” are still in the bottom eighth (9 points).
