Manchester United defeated Wolverhampton with a score of 1-4. It gave up a lead shortly before half time, but without much effort it still closed the bottom line. Wolves did score its first goal since… the end of October! Senne Lammens had to turn around once, but otherwise he had a silent evening.

Keeping a clean sheet is a difficult task for Manchester United. That hasn’t worked for seven games in a row. There was also no clean sheet for Senne Lammens tonight.

He conceded a goal just before half time. With some luck, a cross ended up with Jean-Richer Bellegarde, who scored the first Wolves goal since the end of October.

Yet there was little reason for joy for the home fans. That goal was already the equalizer after Bruno Fernandes fumbled the ball into the goal after an equally difficult pass from Cunha.

Manchester United were also in charge in the second half. Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount benefited from the cheese with holes.

And Senne Lammens? He looked on idly. At 1-1 he had little chance and apart from a few catches he did not have to intervene against an incredibly weak Wolverhampton.

Bruno Fernandes recorded the final score from the spot: 1-4. Manchester United climbs to a shared fifth place with 7 out of 9, Wolves remains last with only two points from fifteen matches.
