Club Baloncesto Algeciras has added another victory after easily beating Baloncesto Murgi 94-69 at home.
Miki Ortega’s team went out all out from the beginning and found no response from the Almeria team, which they practically left in the gutter with a 22-9 start.
In fact, that thirteen-point lead (26-13) was enough to lead at the end of the first quarter. Those from Poniente seemed to resist as much as possible on the Juan Carlos Mateo hardwood thanks to the work of Manu Oulai (29 points and 13 rebounds) but the difference remained in favor of the Cebeistas at halftime (48-36).
The victory of the Algeciras came after passing through the locker room where the team unleashed their attack and managed to get up to five players to pass ten points (75-56 at the end of the third quarter), which turned the game into practically a walk for the final ten minutes in which the entire rotation had minutes including juniors Rafa Calderón and Nacho Rodríguez to secure a final 94-69 that once again consolidates the CBA’s great start to the competition.
Ninth victory in ten games for the team that next Thursday will play its next game in Malaga on the Novaschool court (7:30 p.m.).
