Fluminense agreed this Wednesday (08/10), at the Vale das Laranjeiras Training Center, in Xerém, to renew the contract of left-back Vagno, from the Sub-20 Tricolor, until the end of 2028. The extension of the contract had been planned since July, when the player signed a term of commitment to make it official when he reached the age of majority, on September 26th.

“I am very happy to renew my contract with Fluminense. I believe it is the result of a lot of work from me and my family. Since I arrived at the club, at the age of nine, I have always had the goal of being a champion and playing for professional football. Thank God, I managed to make this dream come true. I hope, in the future, to win many titles with the main team and make history with the tricolor shirt”, said the Brazilian champion and the 2024 Copa do Brasil U17.

Born in Cuiabá (MT), the exponent of the victorious Esquadrilha 07 debuted among professionals at the 2025 Conmebol Sul-Americana, the year in which he also won the title of the OPG Sub-20 Tournament. He arrived at the club in 2017.
